If this is a joke of a record player, I am not laughing.

I was not expecting much for the price and have lowered my expectations after owning several new record players in the past years. But, I have to tell you this is something else! The worse of the worse possible.Things you should know before you buy, most should have been part of the description since this borderlines as descriptive:1) Has only one speed, 33 RPM. The description says it plays 33 and 45 RPM but DOES NOT.2) Speed was way off at about 39 RPM but I found a small hole on the bottom and adjusted it. Don't expect much, the speed fluctuates and produces wobbled sound.3) The turntable mat came deformed and I had to heat it up with a hair dryer to fix it.4) The needle it came with eats through vinyl so it will cost operate this turntable unless you change out the needle!5) Has no built-in speaker or amplifier.6) Comes with NO power supply, works only through your USB port. Or optional USB power supply.Do yourself a favor and buy a real turntable. One with decent magnetic cartridge and good sound for only 26 bucks more like the entry level AudioTechnica turntable.If you are a collector and just have to own every turntable ever made, then this is probably OK.

A waste of money

I saw this advertised and decided to order two, one for me, and one for a friend. When the items arrived, I installed mine on my PC and noticed that the turntable mat was not smooth, the record rode like it was on a rough road. The arm is not adjustable, it is heavy and the needle ruined on track of a disc. I returned the item, a real piece of crap.
