Great 2nd Truntable

I bought my TT42P last year and I love it. I haven't had a single issue with it. There's not counterbalancing to mess around with and that's good for my ADD plus it plays perfect every time. Before I got this turntable I had a cheap Sony that was ok and the quality of the TTY42P blows it away. If you're not stuck deciding between this one and a different one you won't make a bad choice by getting this one.

Best middle of the road turntable

I am totally satisfied with this product. This turntable had all the perfect criteria I was looking for. Good quality, internal preamp so you can hook it directly to a line-in, automatic start/stop and no complicated setup like some of the more expensive turntables. The price was not cheap but not expensive so you know you're getting something that works really well. In addition to that, sometimes on cheaper turntables the needle skips on dust particles or dirt stuck in the groove of the record. I had another less expensive turntable that would always skip. Played the same records on the Marantz and it didn't even pick up a pop. So if you are looking for a good quality turntable for a reasonable price, this one is perfect.

Everything I expected from marantz! Works great sounds great!! Was shipped fast and packaged very securely, easy set up and plugged right into the receiver with no problems.
