This product is very disappointing. I figured for 60 bucks i would get a decent turntable that would work, maybe with not as good sound quality as higher end models. But this thing mechanically doesn't consistently work. Its as if this thing isnt aligned right, it starts making this clunking sound as the table hits the edge while spinning. This in turn causes the record to skip, plus the noise of the clunking. at times it doesnt do this, but it happens so often it renders the whole unit useless. DO NOT BUY THIS TURNTABLE! Get something with a better brand name behind it, one that will actually work all the time, even if the sound quality isnt the best. This was a terrible investment, and i deeply regret this purchase.

Good for the price

For 60 bucks this record player was a good deal. Mine doesn't skip, as the the other reviewer's did, it has decent sound quality, and picks up radio very well. You pretty much pay for what you get. The sound isn't stellar, a bit tin-y, but it does reach a decent level. Great little player to have around for playing records once and awhile, definitely not something you'd want if you are going for great sound.

This item was just what I wanted for a Christmas gift for 10 yr. old granddaughter. She loved it and started playing my old vinyls on it. Unique to her and the ipad generation.
