Broken on arrival

The anti vibration mount for the motor is basically just a rubber band. If it wasn't broken on delivery I wonder how long it would last? Also the felt pad for the platter was folded and crushed. Overall the quality of construction seemed very low - not worth the asking price. If the tonearm is made by Project why don't I save some money and just buy a Project turntable? Returned for refund.
